Attorney-General’s Lecture Series 2018: Comprehensive Law-Based Governance: The China Solution

As part of its efforts to bring together the thought leaders of the global legal and judicial community and spark fruitful discourse, the Attorney-General's Chambers organises the Attorney-General's Lecture Series. Prominent personalities are invited to share their experiences and perspectives with public and private sector law practitioners and scholars in Singapore through delivering a keynote address at the Attorney-General's Lecture.
This year, the Prosecutor General of the People's Republic of China, His Excellency Zhang Jun, will be speaking on the topic of "Comprehensive Law-Based Governance: The China Solution" at 4.30pm on Friday, 17 August 2018 at the Westin Singapore (Ballroom 1, Level 3). Prosecutor General Zhang was appointed the 10th Prosecutor General of the People's Republic of China in March 2018. Prior to this he was the Minister of Justice from February 2017 to February 2018. He studied criminal law at the Renmin University of China, and obtained a Master and Doctorate of Laws.
